How does the money raised help our school ?

Over the last 5 years through the very generous support of parents and families of pupils, the PA has been able to fund the following items for the benefit of our children:

£12,000 funded two new libraries in infants and juniors
£8,700 made it possible for the purchase of Clever Touch screens in all classrooms
£8,200 funded a new playground canopy in the infant playground
£4,500 on reading books for KS1 and KS2
£2,600 funded the celebrations of the school’s 60^thanniversary
£6,400 which allowed the school to bring in various authors and theatre groups to work with the children.
£2,000 for new playground storage
£1,400 allowed for a kitchen to be installed in the Creative Cabin
£10,000 funded new computers and monitors for the ICT suite

On an annual basis the PA funds various school resources including books and equipment as well as Christmas gifts and entertainment for the children, Easter Eggs, and year 6 leavers autograph books and discos at Christmas and in the Summer.

Our Lady of the Rosary Parents’ Association is a friendly and welcoming group who raise funding for the benefits of the pupils, as well as arranging social events for pupils and their families.
